Dur-A-Shield’s High Viscosity Polymer Film Technology penetrates and chemically bonds to the microscopic pores of the surface to form an extremely tough optically clear protective Shield. The polymer shield will not crack, peel, or discolor when properly applied. A Dur-A-Shield treated surface resists moisture, UV rays, acid rain, mildew, mold and fungi.

Dur-A-Shield is white in color to ensure complete coverage during the application process but dries to a hard, clear, transparent finish. We have formulated each Dur-A-Shield product for the specific type of surface application. Our products are environmentally safe, contain low VOC’s (volatile organic compounds), and will not harm plants, humans, or animals and are nonflammable. All our products are water based and contain no known carcinogens.

Warranty

Dur-A-Shield is a protected name and Florida Home Shield, LLC (FHS) is a Florida Corporation. FHS is an authorized distributor of Dur-A-Shield “products” and FHS warranties all applications. Roof applications are guaranteed to remain in full service for eight (8) years from the date of installation. Stucco and siding applications are warrantied for ten (10) years. FHS provides a FULL warranty on labor and materials (not prorated) for the entirety of the warranty period. Product applications will not fade, yellow, or chip. Application areas will remain free of mold or mildew or fungus growth.

EXCEPTIONS to this warranty will apply should damages occur to the treated surface during the warranty period due to pressure washing, roof traffic, bleach or chemical applications. Roof leaks, which may occur from vents, flashing, holes in siding, openings from cracked tiles, missing shingles or tears in the roof paper ARE NOT COVERED.

This Warranty is TRANSFERABLE to new homeowners provided the following two conditions are met within (30) days before or after change of ownership occurs:

1. The new owner must meet with FHS for a brief presentation.
2. FHS receives $90.00 administrative transfer fee.

FHS also warrants RETREATMENT at original price (price before discount) prior to expiration of the original Warranty Period, effectuating an extension of this Warranty for one additional identical Warranty Period beginning date of retreatment. FHS must receive a written request from customer no less than (60) days prior to the expirations of the current Warranty Period to receive retreatment at the original pricing.
